Overview
We worked with Miqyas to shape an assessment platform for Arabic-speaking learners that felt more approachable, more accurate in its diagnostics, and more actionable once results were delivered. The objective was to turn a technical testing product into an experience that learners and educators could trust at first glance, with clarity in both the Arabic and English experiences.
The Challenge
Assessment products live or die by perceived credibility. Miqyas needed to present a rigorous testing methodology without making the interface feel intimidating, and it needed to work natively in Arabic without compromising visual hierarchy or usability. The original experience was functional but did not guide learners from test completion to meaningful next steps, which weakened the perceived value of the results.
Our Solution
We rebuilt the experience around confidence and clarity. Tests were reframed with calmer visual patterns and clearer progress indicators, right-to-left layouts were tuned so typography and spacing felt intentional rather than ported. Results pages were restructured to lead with the core insight, followed by recommended actions the learner could take immediately. The platform was repositioned as a tool that measures and guides, not one that simply scores.
The Results
The final platform made Miqyas feel more credible to learners, educators, and institutions evaluating it for deployment. Assessments were easier to complete, results were easier to interpret, and the path from score to next action was short enough to encourage real follow-through. The redesign gave the product a stronger foundation in a market where trust and clarity directly shape adoption.
